Retired killer. Tired of wandering the city, Edward has found peace amongst friends.
Before the end, Edward was not a social man - he wasn't tormented, tortured or hiding some dark secret, he was simply a man uninterested in spending his time getting to know about those he didn't care about. When the city turned, it simply became a case of turning up the dial. Mild indifference became amused contempt. Unconcerned with the struggles of those surrounding him, Edward began to alleviate his growing boredom with unprovoked murder. He found a group of like-minded individuals, and for a year or so, they terrorised the Northeast corner of Malton with a string of killings.
However, as is often the case with a group of arrogant sociopaths, egos and power struggles began to tear the group apart. As his adopted family tore itself apart around him, Edward retreated into hiding. The intervening year is not one he discusses openly. Those twelve months marked a change in the man, however. No longer seeking to satiate his boredom with slaughter, Edward discovered friends in several suburbs around Malton, and can sometimes be found in the corner of a safehouse, just... watching.
