User:Father Meow
Father James Bartholomew Meow was born in Malton at St. George's Hospital in Ridleybank on February 20th, 1975 to two loving parents. He grew up in a nice ranch-style house on Phillips Road and attended Buttery Row School, where he was captain of the Academic Team and valedictorian of the class of 1983. Following his high school career, he studied theology and briefly worked as a military chaplain before retiring to teach and preach at St. Theodore's Church. He married his high school sweetheart, who bore him three lovely children.
Of course, living a life in Ridleybank had its downsides. Believing that his wife and children were secure, James left the safehouse to seek out supplies at the Tynte Mall. As he returned, he glimpsed what was to become the Ridleybank Resistance Front. His safehouse was destroyed; his family killed. The tragedy and ruination of his life weighed heavily on his mind. He could find no one to blame for his loss but himself. He would go days without sleeping or eating. He became a shadow of the man he used to be. Finally, his self-pity and self-loathing came to a head, and he became an alcoholic.
As he stumbled through the streets of Fryerbank, he came upon a small girl. She had been attacked, but she had escaped death. James attempted to save the girl, but it was to no avail. He was simply too drunk. She died in his arms. And, as tragedy had spiraled him into despair, tragedy took him back out. He swore off the alcohol and promised to become a new man.
His wife and children were never found.
