A page to hold all the stuff for my game, which I am calling "The Haunting." As you may imagine, it will be a horror game. I find the helpless feeling of being alone and about to be killed in a hundred different ways, all of them worse than being mauled by a zombie, make for the most exciting text game. This will be a chance for me to whip out my Edgar Allen Poe/Stephen King/Dr Who pen. This is a work in progress and likely to grow slowly, so please be patient about anything that's broken. And let me know if there's anything to improve, change, etc...--  FOXLION   Foxsilhouette.png 20:11, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Chapter 1: Underground

You wake up in a Railway Station, with no memory of who you are. You are in darkness, the single lightbulb overhead flickering eerily. The sound of various footsteps echo down the hall, some of them human and some of them... not. You feel nothing good will come of just sitting there and waiting for whatever is in the darkness to come closer. Getting up, you begin your journey into the darkness...

Chapter 2: The Darkness

Finding a way outside, you leave the dangers of the railway tunnels behind. But there is a thick fog overlaying everything, making you struggle to even see your hands. There is not a light visible for miles, and no moon tonight. How will you find your way?

Chapter 3: The Cathedral of Sorrow

You see a cathedral in the distance and take refuge inside from the darkness and its menaces. Little do you know eyes in the shadows are watching your arrival. And this cathedral is far from holy...

Chapter 4: The Metamorphosis

How did this happen?! You are now a beetle. Yes, a beetle. Like Gregor Samsa. Make sure you don't get hit by any apples...

Chapter 5: The Woods

Back to your human form, you are grateful to have hands and feet again. Unfortunately, you have entered the woods, and wolves like humans better than bugs...

Chapter 6: The Lake

Having no choice, you choose to leap into the water rather than face a gristly death on land. But are you a good enough swimmer to escape the creatures in the water?
