Survivor Description
A rather handsome young man, with silver hair cut short, but hanging over his eyes ever so slightly, in a stylish manner. He constantly dons a confident grin, even if faced with the peril of zombies, and shows decent skill with his fire axe. (ingame)
Usually this peculiar stranger, often giving the name Mister Spider, dons himself in quite flamboyant colours, preferring purple and green, with the odd bit of black, silver and white if the situation calls for it. When Malton was first under lockdown he had to disguise himself as a firefighter, but has tossed the helmet away in favour of showing off his hairdo. For some odd reason, Desmi tends to be cheerful even when surrounded by flesh-eating necromantic monstrosities. Hooray optimism!
He is a believer in the finer things of life, and doesn't want to let Malton bring him down. His flamboyant clothing remains with him, though he's taken to wearing a bandana and sunglasses, perhaps to make himself either look more threatening or more impressive to the zombies he faces. He usually carries at least one bottle of wine, his fire axe, and occasionally firearms, though he isn't much for them. Des also is quite handy with a crowbar; he may possibly be a fan of the likes of Gordan Freeman. He's not very predictable though...
Zombie Description
Not quite so handsome as he was when he was alive, he still makes rather a dashing zombie, and all his teeth are still intact and gleaming, save a few bloody spots. Unfortunately some of his hair has bloodied and fallen out... but nobody's perfect, right? (ingame)
As a zombie, Des still has a keen sense of fashion, and remains quite... dapper. He also retains his manners, as he tends not to attack humans unless provoked, or particularly troubled by the insatiable hunger that zombies tend to harbour. Which may or may not happen quite often - he has a tendency to avoid death as much as possible, so his zombie self hasn't had a great deal of exploration. Nevertheless he would appreciate a bit of help either cleaning his suit, or getting a new one... Pinstripe and bloodstains don't exactly go well together.

August 14th, 2007
We have been resting some days in St. Boniface's. I decided that I would explore Dowdney Mall, as it is named, and I came across some supplies. A pistol, several first-aid kits... and, thankfully, a bottle of wine! I am glad there are still such pleasantries in Malton.
August 10th, 2007
Miss Shuki and I wandered out of St. Boniface's Hospital to aid in the efforts of giving some zombies a tad of rest, so to speak. We were rather scuffed up, but it was nothing beyond the likes of medical attention, and we returned to the hospital to recuperate.
We discovered that there is a rather intriguing mall in Santlerville. We shall be heading there soon to stock up on supplies. Perhaps her daughter may be situated there. We can only hope.

- Shuki Arduenna said "Hey, Desmi, you haven't seen a blonde girl by the name of Hana Arduenna have you? She's my daughter and she's missing."
- Desmi Pirert said "I am afraid I have not, Miss Shuki. I will inform you if I have, however."
I now have a second mission to embark upon: although the chances are that Miss Shuki will find her daughter before I can find her, I will investigate as I travel.

Shuki Arduenna and myself repositioned ourselves to St. Boniface's Hospital. We remain in Santlerville, although the undead are in high concentration here. But that is a good condition for my observation of them, albeit dangerous. I have already shown vunerable to the infection...
With so little to do, I have been observing the survivors in our safehouse also. I have also been conversing with Miss Shuki. She apparently came here on holiday before things became hellish, and became trapped here when the city was first quarantined.

The rumours were correct - there is already a cure developed for... zombification, would you call it? There are people in the city who carry syringes of the serum. I managed to find a fellow to revive me who carried such a syringe, named Polter. He accompanied me into another suburb but we later parted ways, and I came across a fair amount of survivors in Botting Towers. I became acquainted with a woman named Shuki Arduenna briefly. She decided to move to another safehouse. I think I shall stay in Botting Towers until I feel ready to further investigate Santlerville...

Strange people, these... Maltoners, would the term be? They have trapped themselves in their fire station... and trapped me out. Unconvenient, and I am sure, unintentional. I shall hope to find a safehouse before the hordes are upon me.
A later addition to the entry has been written in blood - whose is anyone's guess. Some segments are written in Zamgrh.
I have been infectedZMAZH! HARM ZAM, ZAH HARMANZ!! and my thoughts are being clouded. I find it difficult to string a AH BRANG RAGNARAGH!!coherent sentence together. This is an interesting effect of the HARM ZAH HARMANZ! MAZZAGRH ZAM!zombification process. But I must work to find a cuGRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!re. I have heard rumours of one...

I shall not state how I managed to infiltrate Malton, to investigate the fearful reports I have heard... but I had managed to become holed up in a building in the Pescodside area. Ludwell Fire Station. If I am to join the ranks of those fighting the infectious hordes, I assumed I must arm myself appropriately. There is only the equipment of firefighters in this building, but a fire axe should suffice for keeping myself alive.
A couple of lines below this entry, a line in fresher ink has been penned.
And thus far, my tests have proven fruitful.
