A Warm Welcome

In the stark emptiness of light and funiture. You barely notice the young boy in the safehouse. But as soon as you settle he leaves the corner, extending a hand.

"Never seen you here before" the boy says with a smile ,"either way your welcome to stay" He laughs, noticing the unintentional rhyme. his handshake isn't strong, but it isn't too weak either. His hand was soft and slender, if not slightly grimed.

a brief description

Even in the fading light and eerie shadows of the boy's favorite corner, you can make out the boys features. Strange, he doesn't even look like he's graduated highschool yet, or even gotten a liscence. He's an average height, 5'3", somewhat scrawny. maybe around 120 pounds. On his chin, on closer look on the better half of his body,is a thin red stubble. His eyes are a strange shade of gold. As for his clothes, although they provide warmth the do nothing more, a heavy jacket is draped over his shoulders, thick denim pants on his legs. If there was anything notable about his fashion sense, there is a cloth, maybe a medical gauze, tied around his left arm, between the elbow and shoulder, written on it in a black permanent marker, is the kanji for kitsune

Background

you ask the boy about his past, he says it was dull, uninteresting. He makes no mention of family, and mention of only one friend.

When you ask about the odd name he says that it could mean things like 'fox', 'lucky', or even 'strong'. it really depended on how the Kanji was written. A comment is heard of how odd a name like that is, you cannot tell if it came from your own mouth or that of some other survivor in the safehouse.

Thats when he confides that 'kitsu' isn't his real name

You ask what his real name may be, but by then he's already fast asleep.

=the list

Oddities aside, the boy is easy to ignore. Back in his corner, he pulls a grimy piece of paper from the cloth tied around his left arm.

A second look reveals the grime to be dried blood. When someone asks what the paper is for, he confides that he has a bad habit of running into homicidal survivors. And he makes small notes of them, you ask if that's so he can return the favor later, He says that that wouldn't solve much, and may leave him worse off then before. He says he has his own, less brutal methods for retribution.

You ask if you can see the list, and he hands it too you without hesitation

lllllll- He tells you he's the worst, he saved that mans life, cured his infection, even made sure he was in perfect health. And he turned and stabbed him in the back {his name made him impossible to track, and this was before I learned about contact and such}

There are other names, scratched out near beyond legibility. He says the markers starting to die on him, but those names have already met some form of retribution and should be ignored.

Bottlecap{http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=728471}- He says that this one ambushed him while he was resting with friends. only to hide in a nearby police station, he remembers warning him and has never heard from him since.

Jeff{http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=369747}- He says that this one attacked them whilst they shared a safehouse, doing him in with two shotgun blasts, one to the shoulder, the other to the heart, but a good friend patched him up. He was warned by his own group.

There are other names, but they're scribbled out beyond legibility.
