Ehh... I think leaving a message on a cell phone would make more sense. ...and having a laptop rarely means you have internet and laptops also have a battery life of an hour or two... laptops are also very rare (in terms of just... finding one lying around and being able to use it)... and isn't the power in the city out? That would make charging a laptop impossible. --ClearSeventy 11:13, 29 Sep 2005 (BST)
And how would you know the password? Although, different brands of laptop would be cool. It would be a bit encumbering though. Also, if it's new, you have to go to the effort of entering an IP address etc. when you plug it into a router, if the power's on. Finding the router would be a problem though(it could come from a mall), not to mention finding a suitable connection point. And what of the service provider? Companies like AOL would probably shut the service off to a zombie-infested city, the scoundrels. --Stresshog 19:18, 12 Oct 2005 (BST)
Cellphones dont work until the power is turned back on anyway ; email more closely reflects the actuality of people logging in at different times during the day to check messages, vs. cell phone calls; laptops could be distributed by necrotech the same way they distribute reviv syringes. --[[User::Spacenookie|Spacenookie]] 00:52 13 Oct 2005
