This man is clothed in a dark fireproof suit with a large fireaxe on his back-the word 'PainBringer' etched on the axehead. A slew of tech gadgets line his belt. His face is covered by a knit mask-but his eyes burn with a rage that chills you to the core.

What began as a well paying city job at the Dovey Boulevard Fire Station in Dakerstown, quickly became a bloody, ichor-spewing scramble for survival. Before his first week on the job complete, the city began to turn. Mike fled his zombie-heavy suburb to the Jensentown area. He found an abandonded warehouse that doubled as not only his new home, but his operations center for taking the city back from the dead. For the next few weeks, Mike found that while his abilities were improving, so was the zombie presence in the area. Soon, even his warehouse haven was under attack from organized groups of undead. Leaving shelter behind, he then headed east, to Quarlesbank, and the famed Pitman Mansion.

Wandering in unfamiliar territory, Mike stumbled upon the notorious mansion- and discovered its denizens, both living- and dead. During a heavy attack during the Mall Tour of '06, he battled, side by side, with several members of the Pitman Pitbulls, a group sworn to defend the mansion from zombie invasion. With the battle over, an invitation was extended, and accepted; and Mike joined the proud ranks of the Pitbulls.
