Omne's origins in Malton can be traced back to his employment with NecroTech at the Pask Building in Dakerstown. He was a scientist perfectly content with his research until the zombie outbreak and quarantine of Malton. Content became contention as he found himself in an unimaginable struggle for survival.

A fateful journey to St Bartholomew's Hospital brought him into trouble with the zombies. Death - or, rather, undeath - struck him and he suddenly found himself among the ranks of the unliving. Unwittingly, unintelligibly, he take part in a large zombie assault on the Pask Building itself. He could not stop himself as they broke through the barricades and he began to slaughter and dismember his former colleagues. Some small flicker of humanity sparked within him...grief drove him to seek redemption and rebirth. However, his unlife had more cruelty in store for him.

He traveled through ghost towns and danger zones, exchanging blows with zombies and survivors alike, seeking revival. However, upon returning to life, he would find himself dragged back into the depths...whether by infection, zombie attacks, or merciless survivors. Such a constant cycle of life and death drove all traces of humanity out of the fragile psyche of the once humble scientist. Exhausted, alone, and on the verge of insanity, he found refuge in Emma General Hospital...
