Private Rooney is a member of HAZsquad
As with most of the H.A.Z, he was a rookie Commando before that ill-fated flight over Malton. God only knows why the pilot took them over that restricted airspace, or what went wrong with the transport, but he did, and something, somewhere failed, dumping them into Hell on Earth. After meeting up with the rest of the surviving Squad members, and forming the H.A.Z Squad, he's been forced to adapt and improvise just like the rest of the Squad, in order to survive.
Stubborn, strong-willed, and proud, Rooney fears for the future of the only family he's ever known - his Squadmates - but refuses to despair, no matter how bleak the outlook. The worse the odds, the harder he fights.
After the H.A.Z Squad ended up spread all over Malton, he fell in with the CCPD Family, and currently calls Challenger Crescent Police Department home, and operates there as a point of contact for the H.A.Z Squad.
