Vancouver Smith is a resident of Houldenbank, and a firefighter hailing from Vallis Plaza Fire Station. Starting from humble, axe-swinging beginnings, he has become the kinda guy who is reasonably good in a fight.

Van has been thrice zombified, and thrice revived. While his time as a zombie has been short, you can see that he is not has healthy as he once was. His skin is paler and his hair thinner, but it's not enough to keep him from fighting the horde.
