Vista joined the Urbandead wiki in late 2005. During this time he made many contributions on the Suggestions page. In early April of 2006 Vista joined the mysterious cult known as the WCDZ. He attended many events with the WCDZ including the Ice Cream Social. It was soon after joining the WCDZ that he was promoted to Sysop.
Before being promoted to Sysop, Vista had become a member of Project_Welcome helping newbies in need. Vista is known for his helpful and friendly nature which can be seen in Arbitration, and generally all over the wiki.
Vista continued to rise through the ranks making Bureaucrat on the 1st of July 2006. He took a break from the wiki starting from the 13th of September 2006 lasting until the 13th of March 2007. Before he took this break he demoted himself from Bureaucrat to Sysop.
Many people have commented on Vista being a sysop in the past, some good, some bad. However as one user said, "Vista shows that having a wider scope of powers doesn't corrupt everyone." The communities trust in Vista was shown when Vista asked for a reconfirmation of his position.
So what has lead to Vista's popularity? Maybe it's his good sense of humour. Or maybe it's his determination to do what's right. Or maybe it's because he's been such a valuable contributor to the wiki. You decide.
