PFC Reyes, The interagency investigation appreciates your testimony on behalf of Omega Company USCMC. Preliminary findings based on your testimony may be found in the investigation files. In no way should you or Omega Company infer these findings as judgements, final resolutions, or verdicts.
At this point, the interagency investigation will consider you Omega Company's Legal Liaison, unless you decline the role or Omega Company names another. In that capacity, we wish you provide us the following information: 1.) The name of the zombified "victim" of PFC Walter Sobchak. 2.) The location of the Revival Point where Sobchak "killed" this zombie and any information on this Revival Point's current status and security situation. 3.) Any information on Omega Company's use of Zerge Cloning technology to bolster its ranks.
Your provision of the above requested information would be of your own free will at this point. The interagency investigation would prefer to conduct itself with your willing cooperation rather than expend valuable resources drawing up and delivering subpoenas. Re: Omega Company USCMC Legal Paperwork
Sorry about this one being all handscrawled, but the balloon with printer toner and other office supplies hasn't landed yet. Not sure what channel mean's Omega's using to get past the jamming patterns to JAG and NCIS since even the indigenous UK Royal units can't get anything beyond a message in a bottle past the city limits. Anyway, when the balloon lands, I should have some clearance to reveal what U.S. Government agencies are sanctioning this investigative operation; and do remember, this operation is investigative. Some intelligence will be shunted off to places you or I don't even want to know about, but I'm sure you've heard the rumors or maybe even seen the photos EYES ONLY I. Everything else gets passed on up the line to people over my head. I am not signing any death warrants, that's not in my sanction. I just gather info on the ground.
Now, I'll level with you, soldier to soldier. Before being "resourced out" to this suit and tie and speaking to subcomittees job, I was attached to an Air Force "rescue and recovery" unit, though in the sites we were dispatched to, you hoped nothing lived and the things we were recovering didn't come from us, or even from here, if you follow my vector. As I'm sure you're aware, our side isn't exactly handling the "supernatural insurgency" front in the War on Terror very well. We've made some blunders in Afghanistan EYES ONLY II, and a big mess in Iraq EYES ONLY III, EYES ONLY IV, EYES ONLY V, CLASSIFIED BLINDEYE. The stink's reeked all the way back to Washington now, and "someone" or these days "something" has turned on the fans to shift the political winds, if you know what I mean. PsyOps, SpecOps, BlackOps, and VaporOps that have used occult and supernatural augmentation, or even just got a little slimy in the fight, are being covered up through media misdirection and "dissappearances". Even the Men in Black can't trust Men in Black anymore.
You USCMC types, while a bit rowdier than us 'clean up and cover up' operators, are good, professional warriors. What I don't get is, especially after that whole Weyland-Yutani mess the Sulaco got caught, why you USCMC guys don't think about what's behind your orders. Yeah, you're hear, and your kicking some, getting knocked but giving it back; but why are you guys, and people like me here? I mean we're in Britain and the UK military's got this stuff sealed up pretty damned good; and everyone knows if the quarantine perimeter is breached, the RAF is just gonna drop a tac nuke on the whole place. So why is the U.S. gov't pouring so much military, particularly units with occult or paranormal tactical experience into this place? What are we after? People I answer to know. Other people I answer to want to know, and want me to find out. Both parties often sit at the same table. I want to find out because I'm in this work too deep. After all this, I can't just go back to recovering black boxes from Predator drones. It'd be like being reincarnted as a hamster. USIT / Omega Company mutual stand down, Operation: Make Nice
OOC, Alrighty. I don't want my people to blow you guys away after blowing me away. (IC, We're trying to do some important document recovery in Ranahan, and gunfire and bloodshed might damage the delicate texts). We can mutually stand down. I was just amused that the "hidden" CLASSIFIED page, which I thought still contained my proto-death warrant was so publicly viewable so flaunted it. It was a bit rash, so OOC of apologize, though IC, I was just following FOI orders from on high (RP hook, who in the gov't wants to compromise your operational security), and I'm more sympathetic with operational transparency than security since The Envoy is disillusioned with the cloak and dagger world.
If you want to continue a RP relationship with USIT, you can consider us a logistical/intelligence resource (though, I'm sure the soldierboys should always be warry what "The Spooks" tell you, and what we don't tell you) and we may request your aid if any of our investigations need more "muscle". In tactical game terms, USIT will probably be more free ranging than Omega's hardened positions. We're not a stand and fight group, more explorers, which might be useful to your unit. Back to RPing, I kinda like the "possibility" of all these U.S. assets being "dumped" in Malton as a sort of "good riddance" op. Obviously, you guy's will never believe it, but if you don't mind us always "begging the question" around you guys, we should be ok. Lemme know what you all think. My guys are under orders not to touch anyone in your unit, unless I'm assassinated, or Omega personnel hit anyone with USIT badges (unlikely, since most of us operate under cover). And in that case, we'd strictly hit your command personnel and anyone who raised arms against USIT personnel, no gk or rks. But again, while a lot of us are "militarily skilled" or even seasoned hitters, it's not exactly the game I want to play.--The Envoy 05:14, 19 October 2006 (BST)
Respnse to peace overtures
I'm happy with a mutual stand down between Omega and USIT as suggested by The Envoy. Our recon runs into Huntley Heights have discovered 30-40 Z's attacking key resource blgs there, which clearly puts a lot of pressure on the Thin Dead Line if it is to prevent any large-scale Z infiltration into Shearbank. Was Harris's GK-ing in an Omega fortification, or do you have more evidence of his ? I'm wondering whether he's totally dropped his claimed truce with the suburb or is just declaring war on Omega. I got a feeling the most likely story is the community didn't trust him, so continued to execute him, so he's back to his old ways; but he could well be the source of anti-marine propaganda that's popped up in the burb. One oddity a USIT operative noticed two days ago was two Eric Harrises (with no spelling difference) existing within one corner of the mall two days ago. Unfortunately, the operative's did not document this. The fact that some sick force in the city has apparently reincarnated an American mass-murderer, obvious makes Eric Harris a person of USIT interest. There's a huge store of whiskey in the library station's basement. And be assured that the comments are put to very good use before we use them as message bottles. Our analysists with criminal profile and deviant psych backgrounds suggest Harris isn't trying to really cause false flag confusion. Just trying to insult PTT while PKing under their colors. That's the problem with groups as large at PTT, it's hard to pin down who's in their membership, since they don't document their rosters all too well, and there are noted communication difficulties between the Chinese forces and the larger Malton populace and operating organizations. Any case, given his morbid origins, USIT will be opening a file on him. Perhaps he can be pinned down and maybe even neutralized through investigation.--The Envoy 14:48, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
