The reason why I submitted a barricade-alteration skill was primarily because all the other ones I've previously seen submitted were either significantly overpowered or too limited in application. As people will invariably continue to submit this concept until someone comes up with either a good counter-tactic to the problem I listed in the description or one of the suggestions on it goes through, I wanted to try and come up with a version that was both acceptable to survivors and interesting/useful to zombies. If you have any ideas on how to make it more fair to the survivor side of the equation, please do let me know and I'll see about changing it. I don't normally submit suggestions, but it is true that the zombies have been utterly stalemated at this point. I'd prefer to see fluctuating battle lines over a situation of "we own this, you own that, and this probably isn't changing for awhile" - because the zombies are really only interesting and in character when they're rampaging through somewhere. I think the stalemate is why the zombie numbers have fallen so far, really; survivors can paint buildings and read books and revivify the fallen, but zombies only get a sense of accomplishment from the game for conquering something. --Drakkenmaw 22:57, 13 Dec 2005 (GMT)
