Location News

Greetings Matthew, I'm here to inquire as to why you are tampering with location news. I would like to remind you that location wikipages are public and that while no single person has a say as to what does or does not appear in the wikipage's contents arbitrary deletion of content needs to be backed with a reason. As I understand it you are/were the leader of the Malton Elite's and that the information in the news did properly record your group's initial introduction into the suburb and its departure. The facts to support this were based on your own edits of the wikipage. To this end you do have the authority to:

• Add your group information to a location wikipage (when you claim/own).
• Remove your group information from a location wikipage (when you leave/disband).
• Edit any content about your group that is false or slanderous.

Please note that the news posted about your group should not be completely deleted, unless you are confirming that your group NEVER existed, in which case its mention on the location wikipage is false (i.e. a lie). In that case you are permitted to delete all content relating to it. You are even permitted to say your group left, when in fact they have not should it be a matter of secrecy, but news (once validated) is news and the property of the public.

Please inform me as to the circumstances behind your edit. If you do not have a reason for them I would ask that you reverse them of your own volition. Edits of this nature may be misconstrued as vandalism (not that this is a clear-cut case). --Mobius187 8:02 AM, November 21 2007 (EST)
