Hi again! To answer your question: item drops in-game are random, and aren't affected by how many of that item have been found in that location previously. They don't "deplete", but their frequency can increase or decrease over time, normally based on percentage of the surrounding region that is ruined as well as the citywide survivor/zombie ratio. Yeah thanks that was helpful! I asked so because most of the time the only message that pops up is:
You search and find nothing
So yeah I was just confused as to why always this message shows up whenever I search a building.
