A flak jacket is simple. It is made in varous forms: a protective kevlar vest or a vest of interlacing plates much like medieval times. This absorbs damage from firearms though it could protect one from having their clothes grabbed at. --ALIENwolve 05:18, 25 Dec 2005 (GMT)
