Description
The Waterlow Street Police Department is a four-storey concrete building with an arched entrance.
Before the outbreak, Hollomstown was a peaceful suburb. Families had just started to move to the area because of the school buildings and museums, and crime was low. Officers from the surrounding suburbs would originally just include a few blocks of Hollomstown into their beats, and that was enough to keep the already low crime rate where it stood.
After the children continued to grow and eventually become teenagers, the general "rebellion" phase became the norm for the new generation. That, along with an increase of crime in surrounding suburbs that cut off friendly patrols, led to the need for Hollomstown's own Police Department.
All four stories were built through volunteer labor, most notably from volunteer firefighters from Sleeman Alley Fire Station. Construction equipment was donated by Herman Construction, a family owned construction company in the suburb. Families celebrated the new addition, and the crime rate lowered again to its old nonexistent standard.
In this age, however, Waterlow Street Police Department now serves as the main defense point of Hollomstown.
Barricade Policy
Theoretically, the Waterlow Street Police Department is mandated by the Hollomstown Barricade Plan to remain at only a very strongly barricaded level to allow the entrance of rookie survivors.
In practice Waterlow Street Police Department is extremely heavily barricaded. Hollomstown Barricade Plan is now considered to be out of date. Entry into Waterlow Street Police Department is easiest via Lambourn library three blocks to the north.

Current Events
21st April 2020 - All quiet. VSB. Mafiamanz (talk) 05:56, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
January 9th, 2014 - Waterlow remains eerily quiet. A random vandal trashed the generator on one occassion, but a replacement was prompty found. Zombies have been mostly a non-issue. Roger Worden 01:28, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
October 16th, 2013 - As we approach Halloween, the weather gradually becomes cooler. It's been quiet out here for a long time now. Dead quiet. Roger Worden 02:52, 17 October 2013 (BST)
September 10th, 2013 - Recently an unscrupulous vandal laid waste to our generator and radio in the middle of the night. Although our efforts to track down and decapitate the offender were unsuccessful, we nevertheless were quick to install a replacement generator. However, due to having found little practical use for our radio, we've thus far not bothered looting a backup. More importantly, our collection of museum-hoisted art has grown by one torn painting. We're classing the place up slowly but surely. Undead activity, as usual, remains sparse. Upon scanning, most local zombies prove to have been unlucky civilians, and are immediately revived. Biters found to be in the more advanced stages of necrosis are summarily shot. Roger Worden 02:33, 10 September 2013 (BST)
August 9th, 2013 - Rarely more than a single biter at our door. We've only been broken into twice in the past four months, but the invaders were repelled within hours on both occasions. It's been rather quiet otherwise. Our generator never runs out of fuel for more than a couple of days, and we enjoy broadcasting amateur bass riffs through our radio transmitter (26.19 at the moment). We've even started decorating the place up nice, through generous (stolen) contributions from the many local museums. By an act of providence, the Big Bash hit every surrounding suburb, but skipped over us. Life is good. --Roger Worden 07:04, 9 August 2013 (BST)
February 8th 2013 3 survivors here, 1 zombie outside, cades at vsb++, the building is lit and has a radio transmitter set to 27.27 the cades were completely taken down so the zed must be out of aps, safe for now. Blazing arrow 18:49, 8 February 2013 (UTC)is

- Waterlow Street Police Dept is Very Strongly Barricaded, but zeds have broken into it, and a group of 5-10 zeds are standing outside. More zeds are approaching from the east, north, and southeast, from the dangerous suburbs. It's the Militant Order of Barhahand some LUEsers that's doing this, being a danger and threat to the suburbs of the central of Malton and the SE of Malton. There are more green (safe) suburbs now in the SW and North. The MoB will possibly rage on towards the safe suburbs to completely conquer the south. It's to the survivors to decide what they will do.
September 14, 2007 - Necrotech Mobile has moved into Waterlow as a temporary HQ. -- BlackReaper 02:59, 15 September 2007 (BST)
Up to date as of 18:55, 12 July 2007 (BST)
- Currently, Waterlow Street Police Dept is being used by a group of around twenty or so survivors as a safehouse. As of now, it has remained at an Extremely Heavily Barricaded Level, has a powered generator, and has a radio transmitter tuned to 29.00.
