The Zebmahn Knights of Ahnarz(Zombie/human Knights of Honor) was formed as a group for zombies and humans to cooperate rather than fight for no reason, and is also dedicated to stopping cheating AND the use of unchivalrous tactics without cause.

The Honor Code

The "Honor Code" is the code that is the basis for chivalry in the Order. It's rules are mostly anti-cheating rules, but also includes rules against tactics considered unfair but not illegal.

The main rules(those against cheating) are considered as bad as most groups believe, punishable by immediate outlawing or embargo(see section on Punishments):

  • Controlling more than one character at a time for the purpose of coodinating thier efforts
  • Characters owned by you interacting in some way benifiting one(i.e. killing one of your own characters for the experience points).
  • Making throwaway characters for a mass attack(known as zerging)
  • Any attempt to obtain private data(i.e. password)

These are less severe offences, such as breaking the chivalry laws or common crimes not listed as major, repeat offenders will be temperarily embargoed or otherwise punished:

  • Attacking a player that has logged out or run out of Action points.
  • Killing zombies at a revive point.
  • Attacking an ally(known as PKing, also includes harming allied zombies/harmanz).
  • lieing in profile or on spraypaints
  • posting a fake revive point to kill zombies
  • insulting or profanity(profanity may result in quick embargo despite being in the lesser crimes area).
  • Attacking an "enemy" not engaged in any threatening activity.

These are minor offences, most not punishible but still considered a bit unfair/mean:

  • Destroying a generator/radio broadcaster/barricade not being used in some way that would harm you.
  • Overbarricading when not needed, blocking entry by survivers.
  • Ransacking areas in use by allies(if a zombie).
  • Wasting resourses(i.e. knowingly healing someone already at full health).

Finaly, we have offences that have little impact, but often considered offensive:

  • Attacking zombies/humans in a church or graveyard.
  • Attacking a christmas tree.
  • Attacking decorations.
  • Ransacking/barricading a church/gravyard(could get you outlawed by religious members).
  • Useing freerunning to attack a building.

Punishments

These are methods members use to punish offences:

  • Outlawing- The big one. An order that allows all members(and non-members) to attack the criminal with any tactic without any penalty(unless methods of attack violate the code by harming others). May be temperary or PERMANENT. Used to punish top offences.
  • Embargo- Not as bad as outlawing but still can hurt. Players are discouraged from interacting with the person other than attacking or otherwise harming him/her. Aiding the embargoed directly(i.e. in combat) may result in punishment. This punishment also can have varying lengths of time. Used to punish most offences, length based on severity of crime.
  • Jailing- Not very effective, but still a viable punishment when done right. The convict is ordered into a building and told to stay for a period of time. Guards are placed all over the area, and leaving gives the gaurds permission to kill him if he doesn't surrender. Escapees are outlawed until they turn themselves in.

Also used for minor-but-punishible offences.

  • Put to work- Good for punishing someone who's offences are an annoyance or potnetial hazard to others. A barricade is built and the offender must destroy it as his punishment. Refusing to comply equals Jailtime.
