Description
A large red-brick building which has partially collapsed leaving only the front of the building available for entry. Picking through the rubble there is remains of fuel and the occasional
History
Before the outbreak this warehouse was used to store fuel and provisions for the Whittard Road Fire Station work force. It was slightly ironic that this was the only building to have burnt down in western Foulkes Village during the height of the fire station's life.
The Whittard firemen hotly denied that the fire was caused when a fire officer on a 'safety break' behind the bike shed threw a match into the warehouse window, setting off the fuel drums.
