The Tynte Mall Union is a recently-formed group that is dedicated to the defense of Tynte Mall in the suburb of Pimbank. Why Tynte? Pimbank is only one suburb over from Ridleybank, home to the Ridleybank Resistance Front and hundreds of dangerous ferals. The mall is constantly in danger of an organized attack from this threat, and it is also one of the most important supply depots for Pimbank and the surrounding suburbs.
Aims and Goals
The TMU's sole aim is to defend Tynte Mall. They will do this by coordinating defense and scout reports on their forums, keeping strong alliances with nearby human groups, carefully monitoring surronding zombie counts, and by running dedicated entry points and revive points around the mall. The CCs are also responsible for running forum playing guides on effectively defending a mall to educate the survivors inside.
Tynte Mall
Tynte Mall and surrounding buildings.
The mall is surronded mostly by non-critical buildings, and as such it is the primary resource area for the TMU and all survivors in eastern Pimbank. Additonally, 2/3rds of the immediately surronding squares are non-buildings, making the practice of distributed defense more difficult to institute.
The nearest NecroTech building is only about 3 blocks away, though the Marks Building in Peppardville is closer than Pimbank's own buildings.
Current Status
Tynte Mall retaken, MAy 2nd, '08. All corners EHB and powered.

Organization and Command
The TMU is a very loosely organized group. They have forums for the defense of Tynte, which they use to alert others to attacks on the mall's barricades and zombie break-ins. Included on the forums are official entry points and revive points.
The TMU is "commanded" by four "Corner Commanders," survivors dedicated to one corner of the mall. Inside their corner, they concentrate on recruitment and warnings. They are also moderators on the forums.
The current Corner Commanders are:
- NW Corner: roo7
- NE Corner: Ponkaton
- SW Corner: Swordbeast
- SE Corner: thebestsophist
We honor our previous Corner Commanders:
Jack Ketch - Founder and served as the NW CC FelixDeLacy - Co-founder and served as the SE CC Rufus Hart - Served as the SW CC Kloo Shanko - Served as the NE CC
Allies
The Union counts among its allies the Randallbank Coalition, which is responsible for helping with the defense of Tynte twice and whose members are frequently visiting the mall. Also the Creedy Defense Force is an important backup source practically right down the street.
Since the end of January '07, the TMU is part of the Survivor Security Zone.
Contact
Joining and contacting TMU is simple: sign up and post at the forums. Tynte Mall Radio broadcasts on 26.77 MHz.
