:To summarize the issue in a central place, the issue is that :Image:555Manbabies.gif is larger than 50kb, which is illegal by policy. Have taken a look at it in Gimp - there's nothing to gain anymore by indexing the colours (unless you want to all the way to greyscale), so it would probably be easiest solved by cutting away 3-4 frames. --<span style="font-family:monospace; background-color:#222222"><span style="color:Lime"> Spiderzed</span><span style="color:Lime">█ </span></span> 12:29, 7 May 2011 (BST)

Can't wait to see how many pages this will break. <noinclude> tags, while preventing info from being transcluded does not keep that info from template call limits. ~Vsig.png 20:36, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Don't forget to add it to your sig, so your name replaces the YourName field. I also removed the extra space you had put in between Deadone and yourself. --Akule Maker of fine, hand-crafted UDWiki sass since 2006 -- Akule School's back in session™ 23:26, 3 May 2011 (BST)

So what's the point

Same question I ask Revenant but addressed to the general Goon population since he doesn't want to take ownership in this. What's the point of gaming the system like this. Is there some problem with the sig policy? Retribution for warning a Goon about their sig? Or just outright trolling? According to WIKI LAW, signing with this thing is pretty much vandalism. So how should this be handled? Can we cut the BS and red tape and just stop using this as a sig? ~Vsig.png 22:57, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

I dunno, pal, do you think all the WIKI LAWYERS are going to just roll over and allow their impenetrable old boy circlejerk fortress of bureaucracy to be toppled just like that? Fuck no. These admins... they're more rulebook than man now. --You rated this wiki '1'! Great job, go hog wild!|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| 09:07, 2 May 2011 (BST)

halp

Does this not display correctly for anybody else using Chrome? --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ 01:33, 3 May 2011 (BST)

The pasted version: | works, the actual code doesn't. At least not in webkit/chrome. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 02:25, 3 May 2011 (BST)
err, it won't linkify either way for some reason. The bigger block does. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 02:31, 3 May 2011 (BST)

I'm using Chrome right now (as well as Firefox) and it looks fine? ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 03:06, 3 May 2011 (BST)

It seems fine in Firefox but it looks like this for me in Chrome: http://i.imgur.com/XAs4J.png (Using Chrome 11.0.696.57 for Debian if that makes any difference) --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ 14:20, 3 May 2011 (BST)
(i make no apologies for using a terrible os) --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ 14:21, 3 May 2011 (BST)
If it does Windows 7 is definitely well below the standard. I get the same thing on the stock windows 7 pc I have running chrome. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 15:28, 3 May 2011 (BST)
It displays fine for me in Chrome on my laptop, but I still have Vista on it. --Akule Maker of fine, hand-crafted UDWiki sass since 2006 -- Akule School's back in session™ 21:22, 3 May 2011 (BST)
Do you by any chance use non-default fonts/kerning options? Or a particularly high resolution? --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ You rated this wiki '1'! Great job, go hog wild! 01:54, 6 May 2011 (BST)
On that computer I don't believe so but, fonts may be a possibility. I've been known to add them from time to time. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 02:07, 6 May 2011 (BST)

Now I'm even more confused: http://i.imgur.com/beQF8.png - Calling the template works but the template code itself doesn't? I can't find any other case of it working either. --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ You rated this wiki '1'! Great job, go hog wild! 04:25, 6 May 2011 (BST)

IF that was a diff revision the first wouldn't be the version you're editing it would be the already saved version. The second is what it looks like for me all the time on chrome. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 04:52, 6 May 2011 (BST)
99% sure this only occurs on 1920x1080 at this point, viewing the wiki at 119% zoom fixes it though so I'm not too bothered. Fucking pixel spacing, how does it work --عبد الريحم بن حسين بن عبد الرحمن العراقي المصري‎ You rated this wiki '1'! Great job, go hog wild! 16:05, 6 May 2011 (BST)
Increasing page sizing works, yes. Strange. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 16:07, 6 May 2011 (BST)

Lookin' Good

Just sayin'. --You rated this wiki '1'! Great job, go hog wild!||||||||||||||||||||| 01:38, 6 May 2011 (BST)

I like it. It's a pleasant effect. I'd be careful though, as WIKI LAW could be used against you. You might be forced to have the multi-color effect to be in the background and the text color to be static. --Akule Maker of fine, hand-crafted UDWiki sass since 2006 -- Akule School's back in session™ 02:34, 6 May 2011 (BST)
