Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

General Information

Club Humphries is now operational again. Come have a drink and socialize. Dance before the zombies come! If the party is busted the backup venue is Club Sweeney, Starlingtown at 92,47

Description

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:

"You are standing outside Club Humphries, a four-storey metal-and-glass building surrounded by burnt-out cars."

Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.

Announcements

History

The lack of a police presence in Starlingtown provided an ideal venue for underground afterhour clubs. Club Humphries was a notorious for underage drinking, drug use and an uncompromising music policy of hard techno. As it was in an industrial area, no one complained. After the zombie breakout it was no time to party but now a dedicated group of ravers wants to bring the venue back to life.

Barricade Policy

The club is to be extremely heavily barricaded in accordance with the Starlingtown barricade plan. This is to ensure that we can party without interference from annoying brain-eating types. If you want to party with us you will need to climb over from a neighbouring building. We recommend the warehouse 2S, 1W.
