My first character in Urban Dead, Patau Edwards is a Paladin of the [[Knights Templar]] in Kempsterbank.  This character prizes loyalty, order, decency, and restraint above all else.


Instead, a ''Great Design'' manifested, forcing the man out of consciousness and destroying his would-be killers.

When he regained a semblance of consciousness, the remnants of a fiery catastrophe remained.  He struggled hard against the petrol vapors and fumes recently liberated from cubicles, office chairs, and ceiling tiles.  It was then he was addressed by '''THE VOICE'''.

'''THE VOICE''' explained itself to be that of [[Phlogistera|Phlogistera, Fire Goddess]].  She explained that she had opened his mind to the mysteries of ''The Cleansing Flame'' by revealing to him Her ''Great Design''.  It was now the man's choice to continue his pathetic life or be the first of Her sacred ''Fryers''--to explore, promote, and pursue ''Enlightenment'' and ''The Path of Burnination''.
To help me rapidly understand how zombies functioned, this character was created and then remained inactive for several years before being recently reactivated.  This brainrotter chiefly roams the southern suburbs of the NE Division, systematically reducing barricaded Junkyards to VSB.


In the presence of such an awesome force, the man chose to be Her ''Fryer''.  He walks Malton, spreading Phlogistera's Word.  He seeks the other ''Fryers'' to better walk ''The Path of Burnination'' so that he might embrace ''The Cleansing Flame''.

Given his name and the recent broadcasts heard over 27.55 MHz, he is considering potentially joining the Free Syrian Army to oppose ISYS (Islamic State of Yagoton & Shearbank) in the NW Division.
