Any group has a history, every group has a beginning and an end. Our story just started as we rise from the ashes but what was before then? Around '''2005''' the groups called '''[[Crossman Defense Force]] (CDF)''' and '''[[Liberation of Crossman Department]] (LCD)''' were created in order to protect the aforementioned police department called Crossman. It all happened after a zombie group invaded '''Darvall Heights''' and caused the survivors to fight for their lives or flee to safety but ultimately united the neighborhood. The two groups emerged in the aftermath of the battle and zombies were pushed back. LCD and CDF had a long history, which had every element for a good drama - friendship, brotherhood, hate, heated arguments, fighting side by side, back to back. It seemed both groups loved Darvall Heights too much and each had it's own vision for the place, which in turn caused some friction. In the end however the love for their home place reunited them and after a '''final battle towards the end of 2008''', where the two groups fought side by side to protect their home from invading zombies, it all ended. Both LCD and CDF became historical groups in the history of UD and the journey came to an end. After traveling for some time but feeling restless '''Cortonna''' (ex-LCD leader) spoke to '''Zod Rhombus''' (ex-CDF leader) in the hopes of establishing a new group together comprising of what was left of ex-CDF and LCD troops. He agreed and the two started brainstorming plans on how to reestablish the new group. Thus '''Soldiers of Crossman''' was born, inviting all ex-LCD and CDF surviving soldiers to join us so that we can together continue the fight. Searching for what's left of both groups and new blood joining our ranks, the group's journey begins now.

NPOV Statement: The Soldiers of Crossman began in early 2009 as the result of a merger between two historical Maltonian groups: the Crossman Defense Force (CDF) and the Liberation of Crossman Department (LCD), both based out of Darvall Heights. The Soldiers of Crossman's operations encompass most of the Northwest of Malton and deal primarily with reclamation and repair of ruined suburbs.

All of us have lost friends and colleagues, those whom we have cared for and loved, but the Soldiers of Crossman represents our new family, with our bond being our covenant of brotherhood with each other. I wish for myself and for everyone else to fight with cold determination and sheer tenacity. Having that, I believe, will allow us to restore Darvall Heights and the Northwest to the survivor haven it once was.

Who we are

The Soldiers of Crossman (SoC) is a tightly-knit crew — a brotherhood — of diverse individuals. We operate primarily in the Northwest of Malton, with an overarching goal of unifying the Northwest under one banner in order to keep it safe while fighting the good fight. We put loyalty and dedication above all, and regularly defend our own in battle and elsewhere. Due to an active and intelligent member base, the SoC has a broad reach over activities in the Northwest, with members of the group regularly patrolling and engaged in a number of suburbs.

What we do

The Soldiers of Crossman focus primarily on helping those who are incapable of helping themselves. Towards that goal, we focus on reclaiming suburbs that have been lost, more so than defending any specific suburb against day-to-day attacks. As a result, we are almost always on the move to the next destination as soon as we get our current one secured. We have a few suburbs that we consider our preferred stomping grounds, and Darvall Heights will always be our home. It's the heart of the Northwest, which we've vowed to defend.
Quick revives may be had at Salopia Row, Darvall Heights [21,29], usually the main revive point for Caiger Mall survivors. If Herman NT [24,26] is active, cemetery [24,27] one block south is the group's primary revive point.
