History
While not the best known of the many schools that dot the Malton cityscape, Membury Crescent has a long tradition of academic excellence. Employing a unique approach Membury had students daycare age all the way to college prep. This focus on early education and social interaction gave Membury's students a definate academic advantage and allowed many of the graduates to work in the some very important positions.
The school was also known to be of much interest to NecroTech as many of the graduates of the school excelled in the areas of biology and chemistry. Necrotech was even planning to invest in a state-of-the-art lab at Membury with an NT field office being established as well.
On the day of the outbreak several NT employees were at the school to discuss funding issues regarding the construction of the new lab and other details such as how much influence NecroTech would get in the school's science program.
When the first of the zombies began arriving at the school those NT employees were critical in helping many of the youngest students escape and make it to Fort Perryn in the South. The employees who remained help the older students to barricade the building and stay alive until soliders from Fort Perryn arrived to take them to the base.
The evacuation of Membury Crescent School is one of the few positive events that took place during the early outbreak. However, following the destuction of Fort Perryn a while after these events there are no longer any records of what happend to the students who had taken refuge at the base.
