== MCDU MACH ==

MACH is the name for the MCDU recon division, and are often the first into any area where operations are to be conducted. In terms of operations, they function as an independent autonomous unit alongside the rest of the MCDU, enjoying more operational freedom than most other units. Members of MACH are trained in survival techniques and are largely involved in recruiting local survivor resistance in order to make up for their relatively small numbers.

==MCDU MACH==
 
The [[MCDU]] MACH unit are the MCDU's dedicated scouting division, they specialize in staying in the field, often for long periods of time behind what are often weaker-than-average barricades, near ruined locations, around crucial facilities etc.. Of course, if there's the option of an EHB building a scout will take it.
 
Being so close to enemy zeds, you might think that the MACH team have a high casualty rate, this is not the case, smart cading techniques and psychological warfare are what give the unit its power. By giving zeds the dilemma of whether to break a loosely barricaded "safe" house (which will most likely not have survivors) or a VSB safehouse (which probably will), they will be forced to waste AP only to find that in fact, that VSB safehouse might not have been a trick after all.
 
 
==Objectives==
 
Essentially, Unit Five is the [[MCDU|MCDU's]] L.R.R.P. Unit. L.R.R.P stands for Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol. The main purpose of [[MACH]] is to provide the [[MCDU]] with early stage recon of an area before the [[MCDU]] as a whole moves to that area. In short, they will be scouting the threat levels and establishing safehouses for the bulk of the [[MCDU|MCDU's]] forces before they arrive. As such, Unit Five is the only Unit operating outside of the suburb the rest of the [[MCDU]] is currently operating in. Generally speaking, they will always be operating in what is proposed to be our next theatre of operation, but not always. In addition to those duties, Unit Five is expected to do the normal tasks we ask all MCDU Units to perform (such as cading, reviving, fighting zeds, etc.)
 
==Group Goals==
 
The [[MCDU]] is currently structured around large scale intensive operations in a localised area. While undoubtedly and proven effective it makes it harder to support a more distributed effort. It is the goal of [[MACH]] to go to the hotspots of zombie activity and help support local initiatives and offensives.
