:::::::Well the "assassins" actually existed. They were called the "Hashashin", which is where the word assassin comes from. They were a Muslim group who tried to destroy the Knights Templar, the dominant political and economic influence at the time, until they were excommunicated by the pope in 1312. It would be the equivalent of Al Quaeda trying to destroy the world bank.--{{User:Yonnua Koponen/signature}} 21:42, 18 July 2010 (BST)
:::::::::Just a note, ''hashishin'' means ''eaters of hashish'', as they worked themselves into the mindset for killing through copious amounts of narcotics. Blah blah bloo, half the battle. {{User:Misanthropy/Sig}} 01:06, 22 July 2010 (BST)

New Template
Assassin!! | |
Poodle of Doom has killed four members of the Knights Templar. |
I've made a new template if your interested in using it. -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 18:42, 18 July 2010 (BST)
- I love this. Having just played Broken Sword, the original Hashashin v Templar game, I love this on every level. Also, it has some context in urban dead, but meh.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 19:00, 18 July 2010 (BST)
- That's what I thought to. The PKer template referencing how if one were to kill a man he'd be an assassin,.... the whole Templar vs Assassin thing going on in Assassin's Creed,... us taking on the Knights Templar in game. It's absolutly wonderful. You know, I didn't just make it for members of my group either.... -∞ Poodle of Doom ∞ 20:27, 18 July 2010 (BST)
- Ezio and Altair are great, but I liked Khan better.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 20:45, 18 July 2010 (BST)
