St. Timothy's Hospital
Description
A concrete structure with deep inset windows gives this building somewhat foreboding appearance. Difficult to see into from the outside, this place just feels wrong...
History
Aptly named after St. Timothy, patron saint invoked to ward off internal diseases and maladies, St. Timothy's Hospital is said to have specialized in internal medicine and long term care, on paper anyway. Disturbing rumors began to circulate through Malton about the number of patients admitted, sadly in a state of coma following brain death during surgery, but never released alive. Admitted patients were sometimes seen, but never for very long before notification of their demise was sent. After the zombie apocalypse set in a number of disturbing sights greeted Survivors, seeing the imposing structure as a good place to fortify.
As became apparent upon exploration, St. Timothy's wasn't for long term care per say, instead it was more akin to live storage for donor organs inside their "patients"; being sold on the black market around the world. To minimize "overhead" costs, living human beings were suspended from a complex array of support wires, with pins attached to bones at key points on the bodies. Survivors powering the building up found that these large wards used purplish UV lighting to keep infection to a minimum. Abandoned by the fleeing staff, the decayed dead bodies just hung in grisly silence. More recent organ harvests could be found on mortuary slabs, having had their internals sold to the highest bidder long ago.
Barricading policy
St. Timothy's Hospital is to be kept Extremely Heavily Barricaded at all times.
If you're looking for an entry point and don't want to waste any AP, take a look at the New Arkham Barricade Plan.
If you're looking for nearby Revive Points, take a look at the list.
Note: This advice is according to the local barricading plan, and may vary from the UBP or locally developed plans.
For more info on barricade plans, click here or take a look at this location's suburb page.

May 11, 2011 - Looks like Old Arkham's going to be one of the last bastions against the surge of zombies that has swept forward to finally claim the city all for themselves. Barricade has been raised to EHB. Eat hearty mates, for there may not be enough brains left after this ordeal.--Copper Tooth 15:04, 11 May 2011 (BST)
Feb 2 2010 - A small group of 5 zombies gathering outside. Barricade still remains at VHB at the moment but it's best to up the barricade soon. -- Crystal Roselle 05:29, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
