Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." Description

A compact and cubic design accentuates brick lines dividing the 8 story edifice. Etheldreda General is the western-most hospital in Malton, a distinction it shares with two other hospitals. The tan bricked exterior remains intact, maintained and inhabited by The BrainFriendlies

Barricade Policy

In accordance with the Uniform Barricade Plan, this building should be barricaded no heavier than "very strongly" unless under siege, at which time TheBrainFriendlies staff will bring them up to VHB and monitor them. Accordingly, it should be considered unsuitable for casual overnight stay.

Staff

TheBrainFriendlies, a pro survivor group, considers the hospital its home base of operations. Patients with serious injuries are instructed to proceed to Cyril General Hospital. In recent weeks, however, local medical professionals have begun to set up a staffing rotation in Etheldreda.

History

On September 12, 2006, a fish-like humanoid was discovered alive in a secret chamber beneath Etheldreda. Men in black suits were seen in the hospital shortly thereafter.
