History
The Stancomb Arms had a small stage that featured a number of amateur/local comedians for many years. While the quality varied greatly, the establishment developed a reputation as a good place to hang out and laugh with, or at, the acts on stage. However, one surreal night in August 2002, Mortundo Jr got on stage after signing up for the open mic night and delivered a performance no one would soon forget.
Mr. Mortundo appeared to be entertaining the audience with his stand up antics when he suddenly brandished a pistol and demanded all the money in the till. He used the ill-gained cash to flee to Bermuda, where he could escape his sordid past with the Weathering Faith Apartments.
