The Communist Party of Malton is a survivor group made up of members with a broadly socialist viewpoint. We can often be found in the suburb of Williamsville. Since moving to Williamsville in 2008, we have grown to like the suburb, and we protect it as much as possible. However, we are not an entirely stationary, or an entirely mobile group. When Williamsville is safe, as it often is, we like to travel to suburbs that need help.

Being a CPM Member

There are generally speaking two paths of CPM membership.

You can go it as a lone wolf. You like socialist principles, you want to be part of a group, but you don't want to be constantly asked to be somewhere. A lot of members take this approach, aiding the survivor cause wherever they can, wandering in the service of a better Malton, a socialist Malton.

Or you can participate actively in the planning and activity of missions. All of our decisions are made as a group, every member has an equal say in what happens. Bring up your idea with other CPM members on the forum, get some volunteers, and head off on a mission. Or take part in discussions on the long term direction of the Party.

What we stand for

1) Racists, bigots and sexists be sure - we don't stand for you. CPM is a group based on the ideal of equality.

2) We are against the ersatz authority of the DEM, and groups like them that purport to administer of the 'law' of Malton. They do this solely for the benefit of their own group, and we do not recognise their authority. We are for a democratically controlled committee in every suburb.

3) Democratic Socialism - every member of our party is equal, regardless of level or time served. Every member of the party should contribute to policy through the forum - in the CPM your voice is heard.

4) Smash capitalism - multi-nationals that created the zombie crisis. In the CPM we put people before profit. We help survivors in anyway we can, wherever we are asked to go - not for reward, but in comradeship.

Policies

1. PKing: The CPM does not attack Survivors except in retaliation to attacks on our members, or unless a group has shown broad, and continuous reactionary activities towards other groups. Any members who kill survivors will be ejected, and only those decided by the group as a whole to be reactionaries will be killed. We do not seek conflict with any group.

2. Zerging: The CPM is against Zerging. Members of CPM may have 1 character in CPM.

3. Sacred Ground Policy: The CPM broadly supports the Sacred ground policy, we will not target zombies at cemeteries (unless we know them to be Brain Rotters or Blacklisted) although the best place to get revived is the car park near Krinks Power Station.

4. Combat Revives: We do not support Combat Revives. Revives should only be carried out on recognized Survivor members of your Contacts Lists, or at a recognized Revive Point following a DNA scan. Obviously, if you see a dedicated zombie, don't revive them. It gets on their nerves, and they'll only come in and break the generators or PK you.

5. Graffiti: Respect the messages of other groups, and do not replace important messages inside of resource buildings.

Recent News

3/3/09 Williamsville, so long the base of our revolutionary struggle, is getting clogged up with annoying, hat-wearing, trenchies calling themselves 'The Randoms'. Following the unprovoked killing of two of our members, we responded in kind. Recently we hammered-out a peace deal, endorsed by the CPM membership. However, it is increasingly obvious that the Randoms are not peace-seeking survivors, but DEM-types, desperate to maintain hegemony.

Diplomacy

The CPM is keen to cooperate with all leftists in Malton - if you are a member of a group not currently listed as an ally, but want to discuss cooperation, please visit our forum, comrade!

The CPM is also willing to cooperate with non-polical groups, in the broader interests of the working class. For example, we salute and support the excellent work carried out by the Deck of 52. If your group wants a hand with a zombie infestation, or if the man is bringing the hammer down, please visit the forum for practical solidarity.

Radio

It is recommended that citizens of Williamsville tune their radios to:

  • 26.45 - The official radio frequency of Williamsville. Survivors recommend transmitters in Williamsville be tuned to this frequency, with the exception of transmitters in group HQs.
  • 26.98 - This is Radio Lenin the official radio frequency of The Communist Party of Malton.
