Re Iscariot's dupe vote
I thought it was a dupe too when I first saw it, but if I understand it correctly it it's the opposite of Mark's suggestion.
Under the current system:
- You search and find a loaded gun. That wasn't really what you wanted, because already have one of that type of weapon. Still, the free shell and/or partial clip is nice. You keep both.
- You will drop the old gun when it's empty.
Total: 2 clicks.
Under the original suggestion:
- You search and find a loaded gun, but you only want the ammo.
- You click on the unwanted weapon to unload it, adding the shell or clip to your inventory.
- You drop the unwanted weapon
- You click on the shell or clip again to load it into one of your existing weapons.
Total: 4 clicks (twice as many as in the current system.)
Under this suggestion:
- You search and find a loaded gun. You have already cleared the pistol/shotgun checkbox on your settings page, so you automatically transfer the shell/clip to one of your existing weapons and drop the unwanted, now-empty weapon.
Total: 1 click (half as many as in the current system.)
