Perry Library was so named for its founder, Leonard B. Perry, a book enthusiast. Perry was one of those types with a "dream to give back to the people" sort of outlook, and after trying unsuccesfully to install a library of his own creation in EVERY suburb, he finally stuck with Earletown. Perry had, of course, a large stock of medical books, being right next to a hospital. It also had several disturbances caused by the more unruly members of [[the Acourt Arms]]. Perry was one of an estimated five libraries to be shut down by a radical Christian group, due to Perry Library's many books on human anatomy which sometimes contained actual photos. Perry Library
Description
History
Perry Library was so named for its founder, Leonard B. Perry, a book enthusiast. Perry was one of those types with a "dream to give back to the people" sort of outlook, and after trying unsuccesfully to install a library of his own creation in EVERY suburb, he finally stuck with Earletown. Perry had, of course, a large stock of medical books, being right next to a hospital. It also had several disturbances caused by the more unruly members of the Acourt Arms.
