Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Description

  • Outside: A derelict yellow-stone building with smoke drifting from its roof.
  • Inside: Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers.

History

The Wadman's original interior

For some time before and even for a while after the Outbreak, Wadman Stripperama was a well-known and somewhat notorious strip club favored by high level members of the DEM and MFD.

It was said that nothing, absolutely nothing, could ever prepare you for the adrenaline rush one received on entering Wadman Stripperama for the first time. The hypnotic floor shows and ceaseless wild revelries were not for the faint-hearted!

While the Outbreak and subsequent Quarantine deterred a lot of local enterprises, at Wadman Stripperama it was business as usual for several years. Wadman Stripperama was open 24 hours a day and had well-stocked bars, a laissez-faire atmosphere and live adult entertainment.

The club was home to many attractive exotic dancers (of both sexes) who could be seen gyrating to the distorted music and revolving spotlights (when the generator was working that is, which was most of the time).

Wadman Stripperama was easy to find, located in the yellow Club Wadman building right at the front entrance to Blesley Mall, in the heart of Malton's premier entertainment precinct Gulsonside (locals preferred not to use the term 'red light district', it is so out-dated).

Due to Gulsonside's post-Outbreak violent crime problems, people suspected of being criminals were often 'removed' from the club without warning. If you had a checkered history or were a member of a known Pker group, you entered Wadman Stripperama at your own risk.

Wadman at one time even had its own dedicated radio frequency, for All Nite! All Nude Radio. You could listen in to soft 'n' sexy (or grossly distorted) sounds on 28.69 MHz.

During 2009, the Club came under under new ownership and was renamed Club Zerg, although the venue was still dedicated to appreciation of fine disco and the spread of various infections. However, the only stripping that still takes place here is that of flesh from innards.

Barricade Policy

Gulsonside survivor policy is to keep the Club VSB, as an entry point to Blesley Mall.

Gulsonside zombie policy is to keep the doors wide open, to allow all zombies to attend the 24/7 'Last Days of Disco' festival.
