NewsAugust 2 - LinksWe're the 4th of the most linked groups on the wiki. Join us, to be more popular! (and save the fine art in Malton) June 26 - We're Ba-ack!The Surrealists, as a new art-preserving group, are back in Urban Dead. They have been revived with a new wiki page, and are currently looking for new gentlemanly recruits for their cause. Survivors who have good tastes in the fine arts of Malton, and are not afraid of a bit of pistoleering or dueling should make contact via the talk page. A new base of operations is still yet to be set up. The SurrealistsThe Surrealists, a.k.a. Malton Art Force, are a fairly chaotic group and currently consist of rather ostentatiously dressed members. All those of a slightly odd disposition are welcome (no potatoes). HistoryThe Surrealists were founded in the midst of apocalyptic chaos in an Irish Bar in Malton, shortly before the whole zombie outbreak thing, in answer to the increasing abandonment of Maltons´ rich cultural artwork. June again is still the best month for the surrealists, as the group has started its second renaissance under the leadership of Dux Ducis. Tea and scones are available for all on the talk page. The policies of the Surrealists are still under development, and will be improved over the older, more archaic ones. ObjectivesThe Surrealists remain an incoherent whole, and as such aims and objectives are somewhat difficult to pin down. General strategy has been observed however: The Surrealists aim to secure and protect artworks. They appear to have been working at random however, selecting few of Malton´s most valuable or even culturally respected installations. Any looters will be hunted down and/or executed on sight A secondary aim of raising awareness of Malton´s cultural plight appears to have been put into action, with severly limited success. It does appear that a spraycan in the hands of a Surrealist produces little by way of legible value. DifficultiesThe plan to protect Malton´s artwork is proving especially difficult however- they are constantly under threat from looters, gun wielding philistines, graffiti and the living dead. The Surrealists believe they will prevail however, as many of Malton´s citizens appear to disregard the major installations altogether. MissionsOperation: Fine Art of Malton

Long-Term Aims
UniformThe Surrealists, however seemingly less organised in nature, still have a uniform of sorts. Full suits, including top tats, pocket watches and vests, though not compulsory are expected however. A mask to hide your identity from the common rabble is compulsory. Forums, Radios & IRCsThe ForumsSoon coming. Use the talk page for the moment.
RadioGo on, spam those airwaves and tell the philistines of the terrible destruction they are doing to our exquisite museums. Or recite some classical literature. That would be fun indeed. IRC ChannelSoon coming. If you don't have a clue to what an IRC is or how to use it effectively, then use the almighty Google - that is what it is there for. Important - Just because someone is in the chatroom, doesn't mean they're actually present at the computer (AFK). Lots of people stay logged in all day. So if no one's talking when you log in, it's not (necessarily) because they don't like you. Other Policies We Support
