This Building is the NE-1 Head Quarters for the Malton Fire Department
Burrough Row Fire Station, [71,26] is one of two Fire Stations in the suburb of Santlerville.
Pictured above is Burrough Row Fire Station before the quarantine.
Description
Burrough Row Fire Station is in the South-West corner of the suburb of Santlerville and serves as the operating head-quarters for District One of the NE Section of the Malton Fire Department (MFD). However, the Fire Station is usually full to the brim of people with axes as these said people are barricading this place against undead assaults and keeping the area safe for the local residents.
Should Burrough Row Fire Station need to be evacuated, please fall back to St. Matthew's Hospital, 2SW where the Hospital staff will be able to administer treatments as well as swing their own fire axes.
MFD Orders
District NE-1: All Firefighters are requested to report in to NE MFD Command on the forum as soon as possible.
Barricade Policy
The MFD NE-1, under new command has agreed to follow the Santlerville Barricade Plan and endorse the EHB status of this building. Thus resolving any conflict with barricading.
Barricade Policy Archive
For archive interests, this excerpt was on this page before:
Note: Currently, there is a conflict of barricade policies:
- Uniform Barricading Policy
(MFD Endorsed)(The MFD always supports local barricade plans over the Uniform Barricading Policy): Entry Point, to be kept at VSB+2 - Santlerville Barricade Plan (Dribbling Beavers endorsed): Safe-house maintained at EHB
This has been brought to the attention of the MFD but there has been no reply to date.
Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2) unless the station comes under attack. See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.
A Notice About The Barricades For This Building
This building is not an Entry Point. Please ensure you have spare AP left to search for other Entry Points should you arrive at Burrough Row Fire Station and find it inaccessible.
Other officially designated Entry points in the area include:
- Dennis Row Fire Station: just 2S at [71, 28]. This is the designated Entry Point for SW Santlerville
- The junkyard [71, 22], which is 4N of this Fire Station
- St. Columbanus's Hospital [74,24], which is 3E 2N of here
Fire Station Status
The Malton Fire Department use this building as their NE Malton Head-quarters and as such, it is usually OK to assume that this building will be maintained at EHB and that there will be a powered generator and radio transmitter inside. However, the safety of this building cannot be guaranteed, especially in times of zombie attack or siege. Please see their forum pages for a more up-to-date and comprehensive status report on MFD administered buildings.
Currently the MFD of NE-1 Area are in Santlerville and working on keeping the suburb safe --Jaysed 18:30, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
