Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Description

The main station in Old Arkham, Large Row Station has a gray exterior and a courtyard. Along the edge runs a wrought iron fence enclosing many memorial statues to local heroes.

Behind the building is a 25 car garage that housed the entire fleet for New Arkham and Old Arkham in the 50s.

As you enter Large Row you see a torn old banner saying, "Welcome to t...." In pieces on the ground you can make out "..bert.."

History

The facility has what could almost be considered a small prison in the basement due to the number of holding cells. When the asylum was damaged in a fire in 1958 this station served as the back up holding area. The building exhibits a deteriorated exterior which shows its long history as a once important mark of peace keeping for the population of the crime and violence riddled suburb of Old Arkham in the old days. It stands now as one of the few refuges for the new kind of violence brought by the outbreak. Nothing the old residents can't handle, just a new kind of danger.

The holding cells are still used after the outbreak. Some crazy guy ordered that PKer's and deadies are to be held there, but the locals didn't appreciate it.

5/14/2009 You are inside Large Row Police Dept. The building has been heavily barricaded.A portable generator has been set up here. It is running low on fuel. The building has been decorated with an African sculpture, an impressionist sculpture, a monkey skeleton, a cracked sculpture and a European sculpture.Somebody has spraypainted Boogie Woogie Bugle Banff!!! onto a wall.--Dr Mycroft Chris 19:34, 14 May 2009 (BST)

April 2008 The building currently stands undamaged and operating as a working police station.
