Buttery Row School

Description

You can smell the butter miles before you can see the school. Maps unnecessary.

History

The horrific accident which resulted in the state of the school today shocked Maltonites from Dakerstown to Miltown. At the time of the accident, the warehouse, located at 54,44, was storing a large shipment of butter, on its way to Vancouver for the Annual Pancake Eating Championships 2005, the 36th event of its kind. Due to a technical blunder on the part of the warehouse manager, 2000 kilos of gunpowder in the form of over 10,000 individual fireworks was being kept in a small, sealed room in the center of the compound. Although it is unknown how a spark was created, it was widely believed at the time that it was yet again the fault of rowdy youths - probably suicidal, who as we all know are responsible for most all of the world's evil.

Regardless of who was at fault, the resulting explosion left the primary school next door totally doused in a one meter-thick layer of hot, creamy butter - trapping, and eventually killing the 426 students and teachers inside.

The zombie epidemic came a day before cleanup operations were scheduled to begin.

The original name of the school was lost to the butter and all records of the school's existence were lost in the outbreak, and so it has become affectionately nicknamed by the survivors of Malton, "Buttery Row School".
