History

The Scott Motel is what most north of the city centre would call a wretched hive of poverty and despair. Situated in the southern half of the city, the Scott Motel quickly became a watering hole for its local denizens. The Scott became a dive even quicker than it became the local booze pit for its residents as violence escalated over the coming weekends.

A relatively new, pristine establishment at the time of the outbreak, the Scott Motel was in serious disrepair as the owners were quickly falling into bankruptcy. This was influenced by several factors including aforementioned fighting (resulting in constant local police involvement), numerous untraceable thefts of valuable property and finally a court case against the Scott regarding the injury of a patron on the footsteps of their premises.

After the outbreak it has remained relatively unclaimed by the myriad of groups roaming Malton but has harboured many survivors passing through to Cyril General Hospital.

Barricade Policy

According to the Roachtown Barricade Plan, this building should be left at EHB with an entry point to the south at Pegrum Square Fire Station (VSB).
