You are prone atop the roof of Caiger Mall. A thick fog blankets the air. There are dried, cracked pools of blood smeared around.

You open your eyes. Droplets of dried blood cling for dear life on the edges of your eyelashes. The entire area is obscured by an unnatural fog. It feels deafening, and you can't help but feel depressed by it, present disposition not included.

Thankfully (if you could call it that), you can still here the groans of the horde, still impeded by the creaking barricades.
