The William Arms
Description
A large three story yellow brick garrison type building with a slate roof. Stout wooden doors of a traditional old public house with windows on the second and third stories only. Enclosed courtyard with rooms for travelers in east and west wings off the Great room center hall. Large kitchen and store rooms.
History
The William Arms was rumored to have had a notorious past as a smugglers safehouse.
