Zombies frequently check inside. Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

Description

St. Ferreol's Hospital, a tall concrete building surrounded by a large paved plaza with dark corridors leading through abandoned wards, is one of six hospitals located in Kempsterbank, a suburb of Malton.

Barricading Policy

Barricade to very strong to allow entry to low level survivors, in order for them to access supplies.

Noise Abatement Society

The St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society, a zombie group, formed in mid-August 2008 with the intention of tearing down the barricades, eating the harmanz inside, and ruining the building. Barhah!

Current Status

The hospital is currently EHB and unpowered. Unsure of how many survivors are inside, as I'm kinda dead and corpsy (and outside) at the moment. --Anarchy-X 12:13 AM (MST), 3 October 08

St. Ferrol's is currently barricaded to VS though is without a generator and radio transmitter. JD 17:11, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
