Re: Your lesson

I don't expect a reply, no. That is why I gave you a lecture instead of starting a discussion. As for your 'rights', you can explain anytime you wish. After all, killing you seems to have made you more vocal, has it not? I'm so glad you heeded my lesson. Just remember the bit about the zergs next time. Also, I am in fact a Saint! You can just call me KN though. --Citizen KN PK Talk 15:51, 5 May 2013 (BST)

Signing: a reminder

Please sign your edits on the wiki. You can do this either by typing ~~~~ (four tildes), or by pressing the Sign.png button in the editing toolbar. Signing your edits in the standard format makes it much easier to identify when and who has made changes, and creates less work for sysops and other wiki users. ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 10:07, 6 May 2013 (BST)

Editing comments

I saw your recent edit, and I wanted to point out that you appear to have crossed over a line with that edit. To quickly go through the problems with it:

  • If you're signing your edit after the fact, please make sure the date/time you use match the time of the original edit, that way it doesn't look like you came back several weeks later to insert a comment mid-conversation.
  • Imposing your own stylistic tendencies in the manner you did when you capitalized "she" and added a period (which change the flow of the sentence while being unnecessary since the sentence was already grammatically correct) effectively changes what Foxlion said. Since someone else reading it would think that Foxlion had said it that way, it could be considered a form of impersonation (i.e. your words with his signature attached), which is vandalism.
  • Removing the parenthetical from Foxlion's comment is, at the very least, poor form since it's in reference to you, and could be seen as an edit made in bad faith, which is also an act of vandalism.
  • Removing comments from other's talk pages, as you did with Squid Boy's comment, is not something that should be done, and because it's a comment that portrays you in a bad light, it could be taken as a self-serving attempt to censor others, which would be acting in bad faith (i.e. an act of vandalism).

Long story short, it's generally sound advice to simply refrain from editing other's comments. About the most you can do is correct a misspelling in a way that remains consistent with the message and tone of the comment, but even that can be questionable at times, so it's probably best to avoid editing them at all. About the only 100% safe edit of other comments is fixing broken formatting, especially if it is of a kind that mangles the rest of the page. Else, what Aichon said. -- Spiderzed 18:19, 17 May 2013 (BST)
Removing comments? What are you talking about? All I did is adding four tides and last comment. Removing parenthetical too. Brb. I'll check the page.
For point number 1. Thanks, now I know I can and allowed to edit my own signature in a page.
For point number 2-3. Weird. I know that I shouldn't edit or remove other people's comments. So it's impossible for me to believe that I do things to Foxlion's comment just for vandalism or whatever it is.
For point 4. Was a mistake. Due to my broken mouse pad. It's like always click and hold left mouse button. Probably it blocked Squid Boy's comment and it got deleted when I type my comments.Ayu Milady 11:42, 18 May 2013 (BST)
