NT Status Map
Thank you for your interest in providing information for this page. Before making further updates, please take a brief moment to read the guide below (which also appears on every NT status page, near the bottom). Of particular note is that only the 4 listed buidling status templates will actually function properly on the map; entering something like "heavily barricaded" instead produces unexpected (and rather messy) results, rather than conveying the intended information. In all the edits you did, the status you should have used was "NT Barricaded". If that is to complex, just go to the NON template portion (where individual buildings are listed in plain text) and leave a note about the building in question; the wiki will inform me of your edit, and I can update the status line that shows on the map using the info you provided. --Seb_Wiers VeM 00:11, 17 May 2007 (BST)
The code for a typical NT Status Map data line looks something like this.
</noinclude>[[User:NTstatus/Suburb|Month dd:]] {{NT Status|xx=#a|yy=#b|}}<noinclude>
Only edit the small bits in red!
- Update the date
Easy. Just put in today's date where the old one is. Eg. June 5, or Sept 13 - Update the status
Change the current status based on your latest info. There are 4 to choose from:- NT Powered - for buildings that are powered and defended.
- NT Barricaded - for buildings that are barricaded and have no zombies inside.
- NT Ransacked - for buildings that are zombie occupied or empty and unbarricaded.
- NT Unknown - only use this for buildings you do not have info about or if the listed info is 10 or more days old; otherwise, let the posted status stand.
Additional
If you have information about individual NT buildings that isn't sufficient to allow a map update or requires more detail, the Necrotech Information Center may be a good place to put it. It would also be nice to keep this map and that page "synched", so if you update one, please also update the other.
If you have any questions about how to update the map pages, contact Seb Wiers. If you do make an update, don't be surprised if he contacts you and leaves you a thank you note and a NT Mappers template.
A request
Please do not edit other peoples ads on the recruitment page, unless you belong to that group. Your edit where you threaten to come and kill them all in no way benefits the ad, and next time something like this happens I will report you to vandal banning. Unless you can prove to me that you were actually trying to help this group. - Whitehouse 18:05, 5 June 2007 (BST)
