The Zombie Annihilation Mega Brigade (ZAMB) is a pro-survivor group based in the suburb of Barrville which was formed after witnessing the progress made by the Shearbank Patrol in Shearbank. It is dedicated to the upkeep, maintenance, and safety of the suburb through the coordinated efforts of its members and allies, and the destruction of the zombie menace both within and around Barrville.
Routine Operation
The day-to-day operation of ZAMB includes, but is not limited to:
- Scouting the suburb for status updates.
- Barricading buildings to the standard set by the Barrville Barricade Plan.
- Checking and clearing local revive points.
- Assisting any buildings that are under siege by the green menace through axe diplomacy.
- Coordinating group assaults on buildings currently held by unmentionables.
- Updating the Barrville Building Information Center.

Special Characteristics of Barrville and General Strategy
Barrville has an almost completely unbroken line (save for the very far northwestern corner) of street squares that runs northwest to southeast along the entirety of the suburb. This makes coordinated defense of the suburb difficult as using free running to get from the west side to the east side is impossible without going around and through the northwestern corner. Because of this, ZAMB considers Barrville to be more akin to two separate suburbs.
As it stands, the western side tends to be safer, with more buildings powered and safe on a regular basis than the east side. The cause of this is generally attributed to the east side's proximity to Ridleybank.
Churches in Barrville are universal revive points under ZAMB's proposed barricade plan.
Revive Points
The revive points in Barrville are Knill Road and Gilling Crescent, and are patrolled on an almost daily basis by members of ZAMB. Cemeteries are not used!
