Besly Avenue Police Department Shuttlebank [33,16] the Legg Museum the Marfell Building Look Road the Cope Building Besly Avenue Police Department Fabian General Hospital wasteland Boddy Place Club Brookeman Basic Info: Good place to find firearms, ammunition (pistol clips and shotgun shells), flak jackets, flare guns and radio receivers. Zombies almost always check inside. Some are often used as literal fortresses, and are sometimes so heavily barricaded that it is impossible to enter without Free Running. Tagging a police station earns 2 XP. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point. Police Stations can be barricaded normally.

Besly Avenue Police Department

Description

The Besly Avenue Police Department, located at coordinates [33,16], is one of six police departments in the suburb of Shuttlebank. It is a four-story metal-and-glass building surrounded by a large paved plaza. pistols, Pistol clips, flak jackets, flares, shotgun shells and shotguns can be found inside. Some time ago it was the known headquarters of The Shuttlebank Militia.

This Police Department is the main place of operation for the SHC Sacvengers.

January 2024

Jan 1^st - I don't know how I'm still alive. Last I heard, I had nigh-untreatable brain damage- and after being zombified and revived, I fell into a coma for... five years. There's another survivor with me here- but they're asleep still, and we can hear two zombies next door. I'm unarmed. All I have are bullets and shells, and no guns. I tried to find a baseball bat, or a weapon, or anything, but the nearest mall was barricaded to the brim, and I could hear a zombie shuffling around inside. I did a medical examination- my brain damage's somehow healed. Frankly, I'm not going to question that. If anyone receives this: Help! Tell me where to go, what to do- anything! I want to survive. Jan 1^st - 4:48 PM - Quick update. I took a look at the zombies next door. Not sure if they're active, they just sort of stood there while I scanned them. At least one of them could probably be revived, if I had the energy to do that... This situation absolutely blows. Barricading Policy

According to the Shuttlebank Barricade Plan the Besly Avenue Police Department is to be kept at the level of Very Strongly Barricaded only. This is to ensure that survivors without free running may find a safe haven in the police department. Accordingly, it should be considered unsuitable for overnight stay.

Current Status

September 24 2011 - VSB , lights on but running low on fuel. Seven survivors inside.

March 26 2007 - Due to high level of zombie activity, and low levels of human activity, Besly PD (and all other Shuttlebank PD's) will rarely be found at a VSB level. They are all generally ransacked with a zombie houseguest.
