Description

Interior
You are inside St Willibrord's Hospital, its lobby covered with quarantine posters.

Exterior
This building is made of old brick and mortar. At first glance, the building resembles a county jail - a testament to the hospital's limited funding. The first floor has no ground-level windows, which is ideal in a zombie apocalypse. Most of the doors are steel security doors, save for the main entrance which is a sliding glass door. Furniture and building supplies comprise a ramshackle barricade separating the walking dead from any survivors who may be dwelling inside.

History

St. Willibrord's Hospital was founded in 1953 by a Catholic doctor from the Netherlands. Named after the Northumbrian missionary saint, this hospital served poor and indigent patients in the South Lerwill Heights area up until its funding was cut a year prior to the zombie outbreak. During its operational days, St. Willibrord's Hospital was known for its success and expertise in treating heart disease and other cardio-vascular ailments, despite its limited resources.

Barricade Policy

Very Strong Only. This policy is in place to allow those without free running access to decent medical treatment, and a safe refuge from the undead. When 6 or more zombies are outside, "Seige Status" is declared and 'cades are raised to Extra Heavy.
