MichaelRead was my second character, but upon acceptance into the BBK, quickly became my most important. He is currently stationed in Penny Heights, leaving his long affiliation with the suburb in which he was born, Santlerville. MichaelRead focuses mainly on the revivification side of being a Pro-Survivor, but always carries weapons if ever in need. Michael has defended against many sieges, including the Big Bash, BB2, The Battle of Santlerville and, most recently, The Deads raid on Penny Heights. Michael is more likely to be stocking up on syringes, at some points carrying 10 at a time. He looks to administer revives daily, and if none are to be found, he usually heads to Lumber Mall to talk shit with his favourite locals, Nallan, Scurley and most of the BBK.

Michael was a one time influential member of the Spice Girls, putting a lot of work into their bountiful rehearsals and concerts out of Dowdney Mall. The Spice Girls are currently on Hiatus, but they will look to rejoin together when more free time arises to finally embark on their Malton wide tour.

Biography

MichaelRead is part of the prominent Penny Heights Pro-Survivor Group, the Beatbox Kids. He has been active for over a year, reaching top level relatively early on. After his heroics in many of Malton Manhunts, Read had many biographies published about his storied life. Here is an extract from one of them:

Michael Read, CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA (born 8 January 1942) is a British theoretical physicist. Read is the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. He is known for his contributions to the fields of cosmology and quantum gravity, especially in the context of black holes, and his popular works in which he discusses his own theories and cosmology in general. These include the runaway popular science bestseller A Brief History of Time, which stayed on the British Sunday Times bestseller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

His key scientific works to date have included providing, with Roger Penrose, theorems regarding singularities in the framework of general relativity, and the theoretical prediction that black holes should emit radiation, which is today known as Readinny radiation, or sometimes as Bekenstein-Readinny radiation. His scientific career spans more than 40 years and his books and public appearances have made him an academic celebrity and world-renowned theoretical physicist. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Read is disabled by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known in the United States as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The illness has progressed over the years and he is now almost completely paralyzed.*
