Description

Duport Avenue is an open street located in the suburb of Dulston. Even though it is located close to the sceneic MacKlin Park, before the outbreak Duport Avenue was not truly considered an important street as far as locals were concerned. After the outbreak through its proximity to the Whitlock Building and Treweeke Mall made it a primary candidate for a revive point. Here zombies who desired to return to life would mill about within clear sight of scientists working at the NecroTech facility, but without appearing to threaten any local safehouses. This was important, as survivors who spotted a zombie standing outside their building were more than likely to shoot first and ask questions later, figuratively of course.

As such, Duport Avenue is currently the only reliable revivification point in all Dulston, with the other lesser trafficked revive points being a cemetery and Hammerton Road to the northeast.

Revive Point

Duport Avenue (92,4) functions as the primary revive point for Dulston as it is the closest revive zone to Treweeke Mall. During a major siege this location will obviously become very active. The street is located just to the north of the Whitlock Building, the largest NecroTech building in Dulston. D.I.T.P.S, a member group of the Dulston Alliance, commonly patrols and maintains this revive point, reviving all non-hostile zombies found waiting here. If a survivor needs to be revived they can speed up this process by posting a revive request, along with their profile, on the Dulston Alliance's official revive hotline, 1-800-IRE-VIVE (1-800-473-8483). Call now, an Alliance operative is waiting.

WARNING: Please keep in mind that in the past misinformation, in the form of misleading spraypaint tags and/or radio broadcasts, have tried to trick survivors into believing that this revive point has been shutdown or moved. These reports and tags are FALSE. Duport Avenue will always be a revive point, despite any claims to the contrary.

Medical Assistance

It should be noted that Duport Avenue does not provide any clinic facilities and is thus not considered to be a clinic. The revivification point does serve as a simple triage area where dead survivors can hope to rejoin the living and thus, the battle. Because of the open nature of the point, members are warned to use the facilities at their own risk.

Revived patients can either head to Treweeke Mall or the nearby hospitals - St. Anacletus's Hospital (93,3), just 1 block to the northeast, or Anne General Hospital (96,2) to the east - for further medical attention post-revivification.

Current Events

September 19th, 2008 - Rumor has it that The Big Prick is coming here from the SW. Asheets 18:41, 19 September 2008 (BST)

July 25th, 2007 - This RP is still functioning despite the increase in zombie activity in Dulston. I was revived within the hour of my request. St Anacletus's Hospital also functioning with lights on and cades at VSB. --SyrDragon 19:17, 25 July 2007 (BST)

May 26th, 2007 - The RP is up and fully operational, with D.I.T.P.S members stationed at St. Anacletus's Hospital and Anne General Hospital on patrol and confirming that the RP is empty. Traffic 0, I just revived the last zed standing. --Rothman Dex

March 13th, 2007 - The Mall Tour zombies have not been seen in the suburb for some time now and Duport Avenue has now been returned to its usual efficiency. With the new revive point contact method started (above), survivors are reminded to keep the street tagged with: Request revives here: http://tinyurl.com/2xzlzt.

February 28th, 2007 - The Dulston Alliance has received reports from its recon team that rotters and Mall Tourists are gathering at Duport Avenue in an effort to clog the revive line. This was to be expected, and a common, if troublesome, horde tactic. Survivors are asked to refer to secondary emergency revive points within the suburb (listed previously as "unreliable") or travel to nearby Rhodenbank or Rolt Heights where the RCDC or BAR will revive you. Refer to the revive point information on both group's pages.

February 19th, 2007 - Someone has painted that the revive point has been closed. But it was later learned that this was only a griefer tactic. The Dulston Alliance has noted reports that undead survivors were told, via tag, to travel to a new location in Dulston, but upon arriving at said "new revive point" they were told to go back to Duport Avenue. Obviously these are the antics of a survivor with a child's mind and should be ignored.

December 21st, 2006 - Duport Avenue is currently experiencing a surge of survivors executing zombies awaiting revival. Someone sprayedpainted a message to kill all zombies at this location. As such, someone needs to clean up here. --Major Striker, 16:57 December 21, 2006

November 15th, 2006 - Members of DORIS persist in their claims of controlling all Dulston. Taking a page straight from Conquerors 101 DORIS has instigated a policy whereby local buildings and streets throughout the suburb have been renamed by their group, in this case, the revive point is now known as the Gage Avenue as far as DORIS is concerned.

October 11th, 2006 - The revive point at Duport Avenue is now back to normal.

September 9th, 2006 - There are now over 50+ zombies at Duport Avenue awaiting revival. Rogue zombies in the suburb are also occasionally killing other zombies, with the more experienced zombies who arrived for the short-lived mall siege looking for an aftersnack and not caring who they eat. It is recommended to seek a revive in a safer suburb until these rogue zombies wander off or are dealt with by survivors.
