Description
The convention in Malton is that all cemeteries are revive points and this one is no exception. Although the main revive point is located at St. Emelia's Church, this cemetery also processes revives though on a more ad-hoc basis. Please see the Cemetery Status below for more information. If you have been waiting at the Cemetery for some time and not yet been revived, please head 1W to St. Emelia's Church.
Requesting Revivification
It is recommended that upon shambling to the Cemetery, you request a revive. There are a few places you can place a request, please only choose one of them, duplicate requests are an administrative annoyance.
- Use this tool from the Department of Emergency Management to post a revive request.
Etiquette at the Revive Point
This is an official and active revive point, this means that sacred ground rules apply at the Cemetery and zombies and survivors will not attack each other (except in ignorance or spite). It is not clever for zombies to attack the very people who they are asking to revive them. Survivors who do attack zombies standing at the Cemetery to gain easy experience points will be monitored and told of their mistakes, further transgressions by such people will not go unpunished.
The Cemetery and those standing (or gently swaying) there are regularly monitored for their own safety and comfort.
Please do not move (or lurch) from this location if you are waiting for a revive. If you do move away from here, revivers will not go looking for you. Zombies outside the revive points are seen as a threat to the residents of Santlerville and will be dealt with accordingly.
Please be patient, sometimes revive queues can become long in times of heavy zombie activity or siege.
Rotter Policy
Random revives are not supported. Each zombie stood at the revive point will be DNA scanned and their profile checked to ensure they do not have Brain Rot nor belong to a known DNR (do not revive) list. Those with Brain Rot or on the DNR list are assumed to be blocking the revive point and will be shot repeatedly until dead.
Only in exceptionally rare circumstances can a zombie with Brain Rot be revived (using The Hall Building NT Facility). Should you wish to come back to the living, please make your case on the Dribbling Beavers forum on Beerhah - you had better have a very good reason as reviving a zombie with brain rot is very expensive in terms of time, co-ordination and AP.
For Revivers: Please Read
If you are reviving someone at the Cemetery please, please make sure you DNA scan them first and check their profile against the "Do Not Revive" lists and also check their group (in their profile and on the Urban Dead Wiki).
People new to reviving have been known to revive members of known PK Groups and Zombie Groups as well as KOS people. Clearly, this is completely insane:
- You just revived someone who is listed on the Do Not Revive list
- They are now going to go out and either spy or cause a lot of trouble
- You have just wasted a whole load of AP and a syringe on an unwanted revive
- You have just denied a legitimate person a revive that would have been useful
Please check who you revive as bringing someone back to life has much bigger consequences than just gaining a few XP
Upon Being Revived
After being revived, don't stand up immediately. Coming back from the dead does take it's toll on the body so it is advisable to remain dead until you have enough action points (more than 30) to get to a local safe-house. Stand up immediately and you risk not having enough AP to move to a safe-house and so you end up stranded outside, which means you may be making your way back to the Cemetery shortly after.
Suggested Safe-house
Entry Point
Towards The Anthony Building
Entry Point
Towards Braker Cinema
Hospital
Towards St. Boniface's Hospital
As you are likely to be injured or even infected, St. Boniface's Hospital (just 2S) is the nearest and best place to head for after returning to life as the Hospital staff there are trained in First Aid, Diagnosis and Surgery and will ensure you are patched up in no time.
Please do not disturb those in the graves that actually want to stay dead. Thank you
